It’s 2018 but i’m still in love whenever i hear this song. If I got locked away, and we lost it all today, Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same? If I showed you my flaws, If I couldn’t be strong, Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?
According to Wikipedia, “Locked Away” is a song by Virgin Islands production duo Rock City featuring American singer Adam Levine, the lead singer of pop rock band Maroon 5. The song was released on June 29, 2015, by Kemosabe Records and RCA Records.[1] The song peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the duo’s first top ten hit and Levine’s first single that he did not co-write.
My favorite part of this song is when the lyrics saying “All I want is somebody real who don’t need much , A girl I know that I can trust to be here when money low , If I did not have nothing else to give but love Would that even be enough? Gotta need to know” . Well it’s somehow relatable with my current situation. Somebody say that “if you can’t be there when i’m at my worst, than you’re not worth it for me when i’m at my best” .
We do need someone in life, who can lift us up when we get down, who can cheers us up when we get sad, who can listen to us when we need a friend to talk to. Life will be much easier for a person like me who have lot of things going on in my head. A person like me, need someone who can understand the way i think and who can exchange each others thought.
I don’t really mind when it comes to arguing as arguing is a good thing for me ’cause it showing that we have something to stand for instead of nodding with anything that people say. I’m not the guy who just follow the rules without really knowing why are those rules exists in the first place.
So yeah, now you know a little bit more about me. I can’t assume what kind of person who like to read all this shitty post on my blog but at least maybe there’s someone out there who randomly popping out at my blog and decided to read’em all even if it’s absolutely useless. Cheers!
