Okay, so this post kinda random. As usual, it’s late in the night (um… morning, actually). I have something on my mind that i want to turn it into a writing here. This is about me and what i did on the internet, also how can i get into these kind of internet related thing. It’s all started when… actually, i forgot.
I remember that i was two or three years old when i started to playing with a computer. And of course, i only play some games. Not a genius who made a viral virus or create an entire networking system in a young age. I remember that mostly i play a game called chips’s challange and i just found out that this game originally created in 1991. Whoa, that’s old.
This game is a puzzle game, and i used to play it with my mom and my sister. There are dozens of puzzle and every time we reach a certain level, there will be a password so we can continue on that level using the password. There are no ‘save game’ feature in it, so that’s why these password are exist.
I used to wrote the passwords that me, my sister and my mom collect throughout the game in a book. Unfortunately, i lost the book and i can’t find it. It’s a bit sad because it’s just not a passwords book but it’s a memory (put a sad song here). This is not the only game tho. I used to play games from ’24 games for windows’ and you can look it up on google because i don’t want to tell you guys about it.
Time pass by, and i started to study in an elementary school. I remember that i used to follow my sister go to a net cafe. She’s browsing and doing things that i don’t know what because i never really ask. So i go to the same place with my friend (very often) but instead of browsing on the internet, i just play some offline games , like insaniquarium or feeding frenzy, basically games from GameHouse. Those game are special for me back then, i have a shitty computer at home and whenever i turned it on, the electricity will go down for the entire house.
In the 4th grade of my elementary school, i started to do some blogging. Previously, i already known how internet works and how to connect with it. It was my father that decided to buy a modem phone, kind off. The connection was only 64 kilobytes per seconds, it was enough to load up some pages on the net and browse some social media back in that time. I remember that me and my dad set it up until the middle of the night, using the help from the customer service of our cellular network provider. My dad even thank them for assisting us for hours.
I made some blog because i was curious while browsing through the internet. I was like ‘hey, this site is cool, how can i make it?’ . Then i started to make some blog on blogger. It was so stupid when i think of it, like instead of learn how to do some proper writing, i just learned how to create the site without learning how to make a great content. And that’s why, i have a new blog year to year.
It’s late at night and i wanna play some games, so i think i’ll continue this post on the next one. I’ll update the link once i created the newest post, so sorry if this kinda like a cliffhanger for you guys. Thank you anyway.
