First time being really far away from home #imawanderer

14 December 2018 is a date of my life. It’s almost new year, but at that time i got my first flight. I’m literally being a cloud at that time. It was a nice flight, no big trouble whatsoever. I was able to get aboard effortlessly even tho there was a delay like for one hour.

Let’s talk about how am i able to do these flights. It was Monday afternoon when i got a phone call from the owner of a place that i’m working with. He then asked me whether i can go to Bali or not because there’s an event there and he need more men. Without further thinking, i said yes (because i was going to the office anyway if it’s not for the flight).

Couple days before the departure, i went to my sister place to company her for couple days. It’s been quite a long time since the last time i visit her. I spend 3 days at her place then after that, i went to Bogor to prepare the things that i need to bring for the flight.

After everything has been prepared, i went to the airport at 1.30 pm. I went to the bus station with my friend using motorcycle, then i’m using the bus to get to the airport. It was a nice trip with less trouble.

Then i proceed with the standard procedure. I was worried if it’s gonna be complicated and i’m already have a plan to ask someone there to guide me all along. But it turns out to be pretty easy, i do all the standard procedure without any trouble.

Then the boring part come. I was waiting for hours in the waiting room and somehow i got stuck there for longer than i should because the plane got delayed. The problem is that i haven’t heard any notification for the delay so i gotta ask the officer to make sure that i didn’t miss a flight (that’ll be epic tho).

Getting bored in the waiting room.

Finally, after hours of waiting, i heard a notification tells me that my plane is ready. So i went there, looked for my seat, then i put my bag on the top cabin on the place where i’m supposed to sit. And yeah, take a couple of bad pictures before i turned off my phone completely.

I couldn’t really see anything outside of the window, but it was beautiful when i started to see the city lights become smaller and smaller and finally gone. I was sitting in the middle chair of the row so i can still see outside clearly. And well, that’s it for now. I’ll continue my story later.

Fun fact. My dad took dozen years to go to Bali. My father told me the story when he finally be able to flight there. Turns out God playing nice because couple times later, in my very young age, i did the same thing like my father which is going with a plane to the same destination.
