How much you ‘cost’?

Posted in:

Okay, so this is an odd question if you just seeing it from the title. Let me clarify, it doesn’t mean like i’m asking for your price for a one night love. What i’m trying to ask is, how much are you worth? how much you should get paid for things you do like a job , for example.

Whether you get underpaid or even overpaid, it actually doesn’t matter as long as it suit your need. What are you thinking when you start doing a job as an employee or a freelancer? To save some cash to buy things later? To build a future? To create an empire? Or simply to survive each and everyday until you die?

If you have goals in your life, you’ll gonna need things to achieve that. You’ll start to earn some skills, be good at something and hopefully getting paid for that. Sing, draw, dance, code, whatever it is. The higher the goal, the more skills that you’ll gonna need.

If you want to go to the moon, you’ll gonna have to learn things that related with astronomy. You’ll gonna have to have a good physics. Be good at math, calculation, and so on. Maybe even having a good friends, like i do. But if you just want a simple life, learn how to be good at garden is enough.

You’ll gonna have to think more, dream more, do something meaningful for others in life. So you’ll gonna set your life goals as high as you can, gain as much skill as you can, and you’ll gonna love yourself eventually. You don’t want other people to determine how much you worth in this life.

You, define yourself.
