I want to share something with you. It’s not something life-changing or heart-breakin’ moment or whatever, it’s just a small event that occurred today in my office.
So basically, someone in the office asked me to resize the font on her laptop when I was passing by her table (she’s a senior). I know for a fact that she got a very old laptop to work with but I didn’t expect it to be that old (by today’s standard).
It has Intel Pentium inside of it (the old one, I don’t know what generation but it still has the old sticker on it), and for god knows why someone decided to put Windows 10 on it which is pretty dumb in my opinion. Windows 7 would work best in my opinion.
Anyway, I spent more than 20 minutes just to change the display scaling option, a thing that I could’ve done in less than a minute nowadays. But at the end of the day, I noticed that the little change that I did made her smile and dance a little. Something so small can make someone’s day and it made my day too.
For god sake, I hope the upper management gives her a little bit more to work with because that old-ass intel laptop is begging for mercy, it’s basically an e-waste at this point.
